East Midlands Orienteering Association covers 6 counties (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland), and 3 universities in the East Midlands have their own orienteering club.

The open clubs in EMOA are:

	DVO - Derwent Valley Orienteers (covers all of Derbyshire, except for a corner in the North-West, which is covered by MDOC, a club in the NWOA).
	LEI - Leicester Orienteering Club (covers all of Leicestershire North Northamptonshire and Rutland).
	LOG - Lincoln Orienteering Group (covers all of Lincolnshire except for the top North, which is covered by HALO, a club in YHOA).
	NOC - Nottinghamshire Orienteering Club (covers all of Nottinghamshire).
	NVO - Nene Valley Orienteers ( the Club no longer exists and the area is covered by LEI).

The university clubs in EMOA are:

• LEIUOC - Leicester University Orienteering Club.
• LSOC - Loughborough Students' Orienteering Club (strictly LSOC is not a University Club, as its members can come from a number of further education institutes in Loughborough).
• Nottingham University Orienteering Club.
